ADVOCACY
Professional staff provide academic, legal, medical, and housing
advocacy for survivors around issues of sexual assault, sexual harassment,
stalking, and relationship violence (emotional, physical, and sexual)
CRISIS INTERVENTION
Staff can provide in-person crisis intervention at residence halls,
campus offices, hospitals, and police departments. Staff provides confidential
crisis intervention, information and referral services to survivors
of sexual assault, dating/domestic violence, sexual harassment and stalking.
Information and support is also available for the friends, partners,
and family members of survivors.
EDUCATION AND TRAINING
Sexual Assault Prevention Program provides educational programs on
sexual violence issues and systems of oppression as they relate to sexual
violence for the entire University community-students, staff, and faculty-upon
request. Programs can be facilitated by SAPP Peer Educators or professional
staff. Training programs for faculty and staff and departments can be
designed to fit program needs.
